Most are able to download to their smartphones but it all depends on your own personal hardware (phone or tablet). Etsy continually upgrades features and some upgraded features require the newest phones with the most current features. Will you send PDF Pattern to my Etsy Chat or outside email?

No. You purchased a digital download.

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD yourself because that is like your "RECEIPT" -- meaning it PROVES you received your download.

What YARN do I use?

Modern equivalent yarns need to be researched. But why? Most vintage yarns were manufactured by the companies who created the patterns and both no longer exist - vintage yarns do not exist anymore.

As you know, yarn choice is a crucial decision - recommendations are not given.

Now, all that being said - I do give an Exclusive Supplemental Gift with tons of info but that does not mean that it has the specific info you are looking for; what is great is, sometimes 😃Reviewers will actually state the yarn they used! 😃 Whoo-hoo!

Once you purchase the pattern, you can research yarn based on the information provided in the pattern. Some clues to look for are the descriptive words and ply, for example, 2-ply or 4-ply, etc.

Just Won't Print - or - Printing is Small -> what happened?

Here are three things you need to do to print:

1. YOUR PRINTER SETTINGS:
Make sure your own computer is set to print at FULL SCREEN/SCALE-TO-FIT-MEDIA.

2. Open your PDF with Adobe. Adobe.com is free to download worldwide.

3. You must PRINT OFF on a larger piece of hardware which means A LAPTOP ---> not a phone or tablet. [READ ABOVE: "I did NOT get a download link on my phone, why?"]

VintageBeso specializes in LARGE print. What does that mean?

Vintage patterns were usually printed in small fonts. But why?

Because manufacturers wanted to give their customers the entire pattern in one shot or wanted to give multiple patterns in one shot. So what does that have to do with the font size?

Well, let's say you have one sheet of paper that was printed for the masses only one time...what could the manufacturer do? Shrink! Shrink the font, sometimes to a seriously miniscule size!

That is where I come in! Oh yeah! What do I do?

I ENLARGE the pattern. An entire pattern may originally only be a few inches or half page - may now be five pages long! You will be able to easily read the printed material...per page.
